Website Shop Overhaul: Status Update and Future Plans

We are currently working on a major update to the DragonStone Technologies shop page to reflect recent shifts in hardware availability and pricing. Due to ongoing market instability, especially surrounding graphics card prices and certain high-demand CPUs, we are restructuring the way our tiered prebuilt systems work.

What Is Changing?

Rather than listing fixed components for each build tier, we are moving to a more flexible pricing structure. This new format will allow customers to choose a set price category. From there, we will assess which combination of components offers the best performance and reliability at the time of order.

Each tier will include a sample list of components that typically fall within that price range. However, actual parts may vary slightly depending on current stock, sales, and market availability. Every configuration will still meet or exceed the performance expectations associated with its price category.

Why This Matters

There are several key reasons behind this change:

• Graphics card prices continue to fluctuate wildly, making it difficult to maintain consistency
• AMD X3D series CPUs are extremely difficult to source at retail pricing due to high demand and scalping
• We will not support inflated third-party pricing that takes advantage of customers
• This system gives us the flexibility to offer the best possible builds without compromising value or ethics

What Is Still Available?

Despite the challenges, a few of our prebuilt offerings remain unaffected:

• The Agate Core Office PC is still available. It uses low-power, efficient components that are stable in pricing and supply
• Tier 1 and Tier 2 entry-level gaming systems are also available and relatively consistent

All higher-tier builds are currently listed as unavailable. These are shown for reference purposes only, allowing customers to preview what types of builds may return once the market stabilizes.
